With Chris Christie in the middle of Bridgegate, Marco Rubio unable to right his ship, and Cruz and Paul both still seen as electoral poison by large parts of the party a new frontrunner had emerged. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, while he may not lead in any polls yet, is the leader of the pack.
First, he has solid conservative bona fides. He is not a compromise candidate for any wing of the party. There is no immigration or gun problems with him. Second, he has not facing any scandals (like say Bridgegate or hiring neo-confederates).
So welcome your new GOP frontrunner, Scott Walker. How long will he hold it for?
