Scott Brown stunned the political world by winning the seat held by Ted Kennedy in a special election back in winter 2010. His victory foretold of the Tea Party wave that came ashore in November of that year. His time in the U.S. Senate was short lived when Elizabeth Warren beat him 54-46.
Now Brown is telling people he is considering running for President in 2016 and is visiting Iowa. This is a complete non-starter. First, he is pro-choice on abortion. Ask Arlen Specter how being a pro-choice Republican goes with caucus goers and activists.
Second, there is a race he may actually be able to win. He could actually be elected Governor of Massachusetts. Why waste your time on a long shot when you have race that fits him?
Third, you think after Mitt Romney the GOP really wants another guy from Massachusetts?
